Sydney interiors don’t get much better than this! A sun-drenched, north-facing, deep waterfront property with glorious views over the Georges River.

The Brief
To breathe some soul into the home which was dated, and to unlock its potential. The brief was to design a functional and stylish kitchen together with an everyday meals area as well as joinery and a fireplace for the open plan living/dining.
The Renovation
The Sydney home now has warmth and depth. It’s a large open-plan space that now feels inviting and comfortable.
The stylish kitchen and meals area keep you connected with family and friends when whipping up gourmet dishes. This is a great spot to eat, relax, chat, and take in the views. A number of floorplans were considered before deciding on this layout.
With no overhead cabinetry, the exhaust fan becomes the focal point. Creating a decorative hood allowed us to introduce another element. An applied metal finish adds an almost dreamy quality to the space and connects with the lamp and the olive leather chairs.
There is ample storage and a prep area in the back pantry.
Beautiful double herringbone flooring adds warmth and detail without taking away from the gorgeous river views.
The fireplace is clad in a stunning travertine-look porcelain. The asymmetrical design hides a support pillar and the bench seat is just the spot to sit and enjoy a morning cuppa.
The Look
The home is refined and inviting. The moody colour palette is brought to life with the laying of textures in the flooring, stone selections, and mixed metals. Pattern and organic shapes create further visual interest.
